*Qualified to knockout stage

Just a few notes, to quality to the next stage as one of the top two teams, Global FC must hope Cebu Queen City beats Pachanga. A draw will see Pachanga through on five points.

But if Pachanga wins, at four points, Global would be the best third ranked team for now and only needs to watch out for the result of Laos FC vs. Philippine Navy.

Global would still be best third-ranked team if the game ends in a win, but if the two draw the match, they will all have four points and Navy has the advantage at plus five in goal difference, while Laos shares the same goal difference with Global but trails by one in total goals scored.

Another potential wild card or even outright qualifier is Manhur, which lost to Army, 4-0, but has two games at hand against two teams that got routed by Army--Garuda, (11-0) and Sunken Garden (9-0).

Update (Oct. 25)
In Group B, if Socceroo beats Internacional, they will make it as No. 2 qualifier. Agila has to beat Loyola to make No. 2, with Loyola as No. 1.

If Socceroo wins on Oct. 25, to get wild card, and make make the KO stage, Agila has to hold Loyola to a draw on Oct 27.
If there are errors, feel free to note them. Thanks

Mike, is it true that Loyola and Agila are sister teams like Laos and Global. Ironic that they are playing in the last game of the bracket stage. Will keep my fingers crossed that Loyola play somewhere to their potential during that game. Possibly in the future when sister teams are bracketed together they should play each other in the first game of the bracket stage.

That's interesting mate. Didn't know that. Agila beat Internacional, 5-1,
but lost to the Socceroos, 2-1. The Socceroos, of course, lost to Loyola, 15-1.

At 3 points, Agila can get in if they beat Loyola. I think Socceroos can beat Internacional by a wide margin, but can Agila beat Loyola? If they do, wouldn't that raise questons?

Will you be watching the Laos vs. Philippine Navy match?

yes I did watch the Laos v navy game last night. I died a thousand deaths as Laos had several scoring chances in the final minutes to snatch a draw even after Navy leading 1-0 at the time missed a penalty earlier that was retaken after a navy player encroached into the penalty area before the ball was kicked and Navy scored. The resultant retake was well saved by the Laos goalie.
Mike with regards to the Loyola v Agila game this weekend In respect to a post I made yesterday I must apologize. I said that the game of Loyola and Agila should have been played as the first game not the last in that bracket. It actually was scheduled as the first game but due to the rain cancellation it was rescheduled and became the last game. So to the UFL my apologies for that blunder on my behalf.
