Chieffy, Angel to visit Sibonga on Oct. 19

As published in Sun.Star Cebu on Oct. 18
SEVERAL members of the Philippine Azkals will arrive in Cebu today to grace the celebration of the Global Handwashing Day on Oct. 19 at Sabang Elementary School in Sibonga District. (Click here to locate Sibonga in Google Maps. It's in the Southern part of the Island, just after Carcar City)

The event is part of the campaign that aims to foster and promote a global culture of handwashing with soap.

Azkals Emilio "Chieffy" Caligdong, Ian Araneta, Roel Gener and Eduard Sacapano will return to Cebu after their visit last April.

Joining them are strikers Misagh Bahadoran, Nate Burkey and Anghel Guirado, who now plays for Global Smartmatic FC in the United Football League.

The Azkals will be playing an exhibition game with the Department of Education boys
team in the morning.

It will be the girls’ turn in the afternoon as they will treated to a football clinic with the Azkals showing them the basic drills and techniques.

Aside from these activities, there will also be a caravan, memorandum of agreement signing and official launching of the Essential Health Care program in the Province in Cebu.

Unfortunately for Cebuano goal keeper Paolo Pascual, he will have to miss the trip back home because of the intense training for the under-23 team who will play in the Southeast Asian Games next month.

Hehehe. Not sure because the guys will be leaving at 5 p.m. today. So, after Sibonga, it's straight to the airport for them.

Some of them were at the Azkals Bar last night
