Paul Weiler named CebuFA president

Paul Weiler, the beloved German nutional has been named the new Cebu Football Association president.

Weiler was appointed as the replacement of Manfred Schuwerk in the Cebu Football Association board but Weiler, who enjoys the backing of Don Bosco because of his explicit positive critique of the school's football program, managed to maneuver his way into the CebuFA presidency.

"This is all for Fifa fair play, I will force that the force will be with you, always," Weiler said.

On the other hand, the Vicente Sotto Memorial Hospital Psych Ward is also thankful that CebuFA has named Weiler as its new president.

"We do try to take care of our patients, and we really got worried when he escaped. This way, we know where to locate him," said Avril Folle, VSMH's spokeperson said.

Congratulations to CebuFA on such a meritorious and prestigious appointment of the German Irrational Paul weiler to the Board of CebuFA. Not only to the Board but the top of the ladder. I'm sure his disadvancement of Cebu football will be uppermost in his mind (?????).

I wonder what FIFA would think of such a promotion for a person who was not even in the squad, on the bench or in the team and yet he becomes CAPTAIN without playing a game. FIFA Fair Play . . .I dont think so. There must be some mafiaoso at work for such a decision.

There should be a people power uprising at Jones Ave by the people at the rotonda and GIVE HIM A RED CARD.

The heavy rains spoiled the debut of defending champions Don Bosco College yesterday, cutting short the match between DBC A(?) and Bright. Hopefully, it will be a sunny Sunday. P.S. It will be interesting to note, how DBC divided its teams for the U12.

A Pinoy played for Real Madrid? (updated)

HERE'S an interesting photo submitted by Asian Football Confederation women's committee member Cristina Ramos. Its taken at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and shows a gallery of the great players who played for Real Madrid. And guess where one of them is from? Jaron Genota said the only information he has managed to gather is that the player's name is Teus. I hope to get more information on this guy in the next few months. Ms. Ramos, who was also in the organizing committee of the Fifa U17 and U20 women's world cup, said the picture was part of Real Madrid's exhibit on the universality of their players. From Ms. Ramos, "Mike, the photo of the Filipino player was part of the display entitled "The Universality of our Players" in the Real Madrid museum in Bernabeu. It's funny that they acknowledged him but did not name him. Only those from countries which participated in the World Cup were named."
