Ngano boys 15 man ang qualifying sa Cebu sa Boys 17 next year? nga duha man ka tuig ang diperensya sa 15 karun ug sa 17 next year? tanawa na ang defending champion sa aboitiz under17 karung tuiga sa aboitiz festival ang usc, dili sila ka apil sa eliminations para kung kinsa mu represent sa cebu para next year sa u17.

Simpol ra nga pangutana, hinaut dili na ta ma 5-0 or ma lubong sa regionals.

bahala namo diha magtranslate alang sa mga dili kasabot ug binisaya

The 2007 PFF Visayas Regional Men's U-17, as per PFF definition, is for players turning 16 years old in 2007. That means the player should be born 1991 or younger (2007-1991=16yrs old).

To prepare for the above regional event, CebuFA organizes a local qualifying - the 2006 aboitiz CebuFA Boys-15 Cup. Again, this is for players turning 15 years old in 2006. By next year (2007), these players would have turned 16 years old and thus eligible to compete in the 2007 Mens U-17 regionals.

If you do your math properly, the cut-off year (1991) of the 2006 local qualifying and the 2007 regional event are one and the same.

This is also what was applied in 2006 PFF Visayas Regional Men's U-17 hosted by CebuFA last July 2006. Cut-off year for players was 1990. (PFF definition, 2006-1990=16yrs old). CebuFA had its 2005 aboitiz Boys-15 Cup which was won by Springdale. Again cut off year was consistent, 1990.

The 2006 aboitiz Natl Festival Boys-17 had a cut-off year of 1989 (2006-1989=17yrs old).

Sakto ka MDT (Mas Dakong Tubag), but why do we call an age group by two different names? It only confuses people like DP. So Boys 15 is the same as U-16. Why not just choose either one. If national PFF insists on using 'Under'prefexis, magpa-'under' na lang sad ta sa ilang gitawag,di ba?

Calling CFA-morag bagyo jud karon. Will the games today and tomorrow be moved to December 16? Anyway no more ASEAN and possibly there will be classes next week.

Age group names has long been an issue. remember attending one meeting a few years back when coaches couldnt agree on who qualifies for the Under16. I think the central argument there was whether the 16 years old were included, and whether it should be an Under16 or a 16 and under.

Maybe to avoid confusion, we should name age groups by year, no more boys 15, rather boys 91
