Boys 14

CIS defeated Springdale, 1-0, to bag this crown.

It was a beatufil give and go between goal scorer Kerbasi Ugart and Xavier Streegan. Now, if I am not wrong, Springdale's got three players who played for the national team in this bracket, and for CIS to beat them in this tournament (Yeah, it's just a festival, put in all pro and con arguments here) speaks volume of the competition in Cebu in this division.

the quality of the competition and players in this division is tremendous and entertaining. which makes me all the more wonder why Maximo didn't include a P14 (or should it be U14) tournament for this year. check the business news - RedRibbon announced that they will be reorganizing and evaluating their non-traditional sponsorships - thus their footballing activities may be cut. if this happens, what will happen to the P14 players ? will they just have festivals to look forward to ?

Heard that the Hiroshi team here was disqualified because they fielded some (as many as 4) players who were over-aged.THIS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY CEBU FA further and the coach or club and given stiff sanctions. THEY SHOULD ALSO BE STRIPPED OF THEIR TITLE IN SAN ROQUE because it was the same team that played. If our only penalty is disqualification, then we will only be tolerating this type of CHEATING and coaches will be always on alert because teams will try to make "palusot"

I look forward to Cebu doing really well in national competitions in the future. The level of domestic competition also indicates the level of skill. The more intense the competition, the better the players will be.

Mizuno organizers should come up with an official report on alleged cheating of teams. They were the ones who accepted the team line-up and player credentials.

Let's wait for the report

Organizers of San Roque Festival should also make its own investigation and render a decision because allegedly the "questioned" Boys-14 team in Mizuno Festival were the same team that played in San Roque Festival. Both organizers, Mizuno & San Roque, are accountable for this in order to protect the interest of the other teams that participated in their festivals.

i have several questions - what happens to the organizers if they fail to make a report on these issues. are organizers required to submit a tournament report to the CebuFA ?

is there such a thing as a "sanction on organizers" if they fail to report age-cheating or other violations to the CebuFA ?

If ever these organizers fail to investigate & render decisions on alleged tournament violations, such as cheating, CebuFA should not extend official sanctions in the tournaments that they will be organizing in the future.

Pre, what will happen if organizers clear the alleged violators. does the CebuFA have the authority to conduct their own investigation with or without the organizer's report ?

Let the organizers render a decision first. That is their obligation. If nothing comes out, I suggest to CebuFA, since it was a sanctioned tournament, to refer it to its Disciplinary Committee and ask these organizers for their side, investigate the matter and come up with a decision. The party involve now is the organizer.
