UFL Cup standings (with Oct. 26 games)

(Please note that this is not the official standings. All I did was update the Oct 22 standings in the UFL Page, with the results of Oct. 23, Oct 25 and 26.)

Group A         GP     W     D     L     GF   GA     GD     Pts
Nomads         3         3      0     0     13     0      13        9*
Lions FC        2         1      0     1      4      2        2         3
Union             2        0      0     2      0      6        -6         0
Baguio FC     1        0      0     1       0      9       -9         0
Oct 29 Lions vs. Baguio
Oct. 30 Union vs. Baguio

If the Lions win against Baguio, they will bag the second qualifier spot, and the Union vs. Baguio game will be moot. Unless, one team buries the other by 20 goals to be in contention for a wild card.

Group B              GP     W     D     L     GF     GA     GD     Pts
Loyola                 2        2     0     0       22     1        21       6*

Socceroo            3        2     0     1        4      16     -12        6*
Agila FC              2        1     0     1        6       3      3           3
Internacionale     3         0     0     3       1      13     -12        0
Oct. 25 Socceroo vs. Internacional, 1-0
Oct. 27 Loyola vs. Agila

Now this is an interesting scenario, Loyola, despite having the best offensive show, still hasn't advanced, though their making the KO stage is all but a certainty.

Agila, which will face Loyola on Oct. 27, can sneak into the KO stage with a draw or an improbable win. But will the team that lost (2-1) to the team that lost (15-1), to Loyola beat Loyala?

If Agila beats Loyola, Loyola, and Agila will be automatic qualifiers, while Socceroo also makes it as best third-ranked team.

Global will have to wait for the Manhur vs. Sunken Garden game to know if it makes KO stage as second-best third-ranked team.

Group C           GP     W     D     L     GF     GA     GD     Pts

Pachanga FC   2         1     1     0      4         2         2     4
Queen City FC  2        0     0     2       0       11       -11     0

Oct. 27 PAF vs. Japan

Group F            GP     W     D     L     GF     GA     GD     Pts
Archers             2       2     0       0     11     0        11     6*
Pasargad FC     2       1     0        1     3       4        -1     3

Dolphins            3         1     0       2     4        9       -5     3
Oct. 29 Green Archers vs. Pasargad
Update: If Archers beat Pasargad by four goals, Forza FC will advance

Group G             GP     W     D     L     GF     GA     GD     Pts
P Army FC            3     3     0       0     24       0      24        9*

Manhur FC             2     1     0       1     2         5       -3      3
Sunken Garden     2     1     0        1     3       10      -7       3
Garuda FC PH       2     0     0       2     1        14     -13     0
Oct. 26 Garuda vs. Manhur 1-2
Oct. 30 S Garden vs. Manhur

Manhur still has a chance to make knockout stage either as the second qualifier or as wild card since it still has two games left.

After winning against Garuda, Manhur puts itselft in a good position to take the second qualifier spot, needing only a draw against Sunken Garden to finish at second on four points. A draw against Sunken Garden, which will put both teams at four points, could see both squads in the KO stage as the second qualifier, and second best third-ranked teams.

That is of course, provided Baguio loses one of its last two matches.

If either Manhur or Sunken Garden wins, the winner takes the second qualifier spot, the loser is eliminated and Laos FC finishes as the second-best third-ranked team.

*Qualified to knockout stage
